Went out with Donna last Saturday to get her MCR queue jumpers and to have lunch. Ate at Takashimaya and I had chawanmushi and oyster toji.

The oh-my-god-so-freaking-good chawanmushi. Not that cheap(as compared to the lousy Sakae Sushi one) but not that expensive as well.

Oyster toji. I should've ordered fried oyster curry or something because the oysters in this dish was almost non-existent. They were so pathetically small and I was like eating the batter the whole time. Donna ordered the hire katsu toji set and it was so much more worth it. Maybe because pork is cheaper? Hmmmn...

Walking around Orchard on a Saturday sucks because the people traffic there is seriously bad and the trains are always crowded till the extent that you feel that you cannot breathe at all. Then again, becuase Christmas is nearing, Orchard is like crowded on almost everyday now. Hate it. Hate it even more when irresponsible parents let their whiny kids shout and run about like no ones business. I hope their kids accidentally run off the MRT platform when the train is approaching. :D Okay, too evil but seriously, I really hate kids who cannot sit still and cannot stand not letting the whole world know of their existence. Talking about irritating kids, I was working at my father's place one day and there was one who came for a dental check-up. He was running all over the place and kept opening doors that had the 'NO ENTRY' sign on them. However, when it was finally his turn, he started wailing and ran out of the clinic and refused to come back till his father lured him back with a toy. Sometimes, I pity primary school teachers who have kids like that in their classes.

Li Ming came back from Taiwan and Hong Kong the day before and she got me a cute bookmark and a pair of chopsticks from Disneyland~

Li Ming's brother came back from Japan and he got me this sweet called Tokyo Banana. The English on the wrapper is like really bad and makes no sense at all but the sweet was delicious.

Received the recording of the Korean Speech Contest. OMG, I dont even know if I want to watch it again or not. I'm damn scared of looking at myself deliver the speech. I think I sucked. :D

Went Karaoke with hy yesterday. Although I basically hate Orchard because it's the holiday season right now, I'm totally loving the number of high school students who go to Orchard during this period. There were like quite a few cute Japanese high school boys at the karaoke place. OMG~! Almost died of happiness. Lalalala. I was seated at a strategic position where I could basically see everyone who were there. Slit eyes are like damn sexy~ I should really stop now because if I continue, I'm scared that I might be arrested for being a potential paedophile. :P

Saw two girls who were wearing kigurumis. One Stitch and one Winnie the Pooh. In Japan, that's probably normal but in oh-so-freaking-hot Singapore?! Then again, the weather has been kind of cold recently so I'm guessing that they wore it for warmth. ~_~

Ate sukiyaki yesterday. It was so freaking worth it. I paid around $15~17 and got to eat this!!! The only disadvantage of this dish was that by the time I got through 90% (didnt finish it) of it, I was too full to order the dessert that I was eyeing. At Sakae Sushi, you basically get the hotpot only for this price. No rice included.

hy gave me my early Christmas present yesterday because she was lazy to bring it home and wrap it up. -_-. Haha, thanks anyway! I promise I will read it and will also find the CDs you want in Taiwan :D
