Norwegian Xmas Party~

Merry Christmas Eve to anyone who's reading this! Can't wait to open my presents...whee~!

Accompanied Tiffany for Christmas shopping at Umeda yesterday with Riko, who's Tiffany's Nihongo partner. I'm like chummier with other people's Nihongo partners than mine...wtf. I dont even know what happened to them anyway. The shoes at HEP Five were like sooooo freaking pretty and I wanted to buy like all of them but the cheapest pair was like what, 6800yen or something. WTF?! It's not even branded lor and I refuse to pay that much for a pair of shoes that's not branded and made in China. Ate at Yodobashi Camera during lunch and I had this fried chicken set. Taste -wise, it was passable and quantity-wise, it was just superb! I couldnt even finish the chicken lo! Luckily I offered Riko and Tiffany a few pieces before starting to eat.

Riko ordered this dish called "jyagamen" which is probably noodles made out of potatoes. The taste was pretty weird and the noodles were hard. I didnt like it though.

After lunch, we went to eat dessert and we ordered maccha ice-cream topped with red beans and shiratamas. My favourite combination! The shiratamas' probably the most delicious ones that I've ever ate in my life. While eating at the shop, I saw this little girl who was wearing like the shortest skirt ever. Seriously, her underwear was showing and the slit in front of her skirt basically exposed everything underneath. Why do parents dress their kids up like that?! It's like an invitation for paedophiles to prey on their children. Eew.

After shopping, I went to Lasse's house for a Christmas party, Norway-style. There were like 5 Norwegians, 2 Japanese, 2 Koreans and yar, 1 Singaporean(me). Out of the 9 people there, I only knew like 4 of them and out of the 4, 2 came when I was about to go home so ya, basically didnt know alot of people there when the party started. Even though so, I had lots of fun during the party.
Used a peanuts wrapper in place of an angel/star because the tree looked so bare...wtf. =D

Ate biscuits from Norway...

...and Norwegian porridge.

Apparently, you're supposed to add cinammon powder, sugar, salt and butter into the porridge. There was this guy who liked cinammon powder so much that he sprinkled cinammon powder ALL OVER his share. Instead of white porridge, it became like brown. =D.

The guys playing Taiko no Tatsujin...what?! I didnt know that you can actually play Taiko no Tatsujin at home! Quite fun though and it's a totally different experience from playing it on DS or at the arcade.

Lasse owns this panda stuffed toy that you can basically turn its head 360 degrees. Sounds disgusting but the toy was just soooo cute! I even played this battle game where the winner gets the panda...wtf...but I lost. -_-. Then again, I refused to admit that I lost and held onto the panda. Whee~
Proof that the panda was really popular No. 1.

Proof that the panda was really popular No. 2. The panda got stuffed into the jacket so that I couldnt snatch it away but I managed to anyway. =D

What's a Christmas party without exchanging presents?! I was really sorry but I bought this really shitty present but whatever la...In exchange, I got this BL novel that I cant upload a picture of it because it's too graphic. Heh. So going to read it but I need to get a book cover first before I can read it on the train.

Drinking Norwegian alcohol~It was really sweet and I really liked it. I think it's called "Glogg" or something. =D

The mess after the party...okay, actually this was like what, 2 hours into the party. It got even messier afterwards but I forgot to take a picture. Had to like run towards the station after the party so that I could board the last train home. Luckily I managed to catch it. Last trains in Japan are like seriously way too early. It doesnt matter if there's other forms of transport back home but...taxis are so fucking expensive that I cant even afford to take them home. =(
