I really want 48hours in day!

Long time no update! Have seriously been playing too much recently...to the extent that I'm not completing my homework on time...shit.

Had a takoyaki party last Wednesday at this Korean Language Study Club I'm in. It's really interesting to know that most people in Kansai own a takoyaki maker. In fact, I'm seriously comtemplating buying one back to Singapore so I can make my own takoyaki than buy the expensive "3 for $2.20" takoyaki back home. =D There were like lots of food and people at the party. Many Koreans and Japanese but one Singaporean...that is me.

Went to karaoke with my Geography class on Thursday because the teacher cancelled the class that day and everyone was free. Okay, didnt exactly go with everyone though. It was really fun because everyone sang different song genres and Lasse knew some really old Japanese songs. Cool! Too bad I had to leave early to go watch a concert. Oh, and one good thing about the karaoke is ... free-flow of drinks which includes a selected few alcoholic drinks!
Me, Rie, Chris, Lasse, Trevor, Keiko, Haruka, Victor

Left the karaoke early with Trevor, who offered to walk me to the station because he knew that I was going to get lost if I went by myself...-____-. Yes, I'm still getting lost in Umeda even though I've been there a couple of times. Then again, I still get lost in Orchard Road although I've been staying in Singapore for 21 years. So anyway, he decided to take the shortcut by climbing onto a pretty high stone chair and then jumping off it to crossover to the other side of the road because the normal walkway was just too freaking faraway. I climbed up the stone chair was chickened out when I had to jump off it. I was like practically screaming my head off going "Nooo! I dont want to! I will die!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Everyone outside Yodobashi Camera(the place we were at) probably got a shock or something. In the end, I sat on the stone chair and jumped off it instead of jumping off it while standing up...and yar, I didnt die but we got horned at while jaywalking across the road. -_-

Watched Asian Kung-fu Generation's concert on Thursday...without even knowing who they are beforehand...wtf. The concert was surprisingly good and I really enjoyed myself =D. It was a sold-out concert and they had like super- duper large number of fans, of both genders. Everyone was so high in the concert and no one seated down for the whole concert...note that the concert was 3 hours long and most, if not all, Japanese women wear high-heels. There was this seriously otaku-looking guy next next to me and he was literally dancing and screaming his head off throughout the concert...Yes, that's how high the concert was.

Did Sado on Friday afternoon and I'm really sad that I'm leaving soon because I wont be able to continue with practising Sado with Yui-san and Tamamori-san, who are like the nicest Sado people you'll ever meet. Okay, I've only met 2 before but whatever la. Went drinking with my friends in Umeda in the evening at this British pub called Hub and the fish-and-chips there were freaking delicious, not to mention cheap as well. Drinks were like going at half-price because it was happy hour. Damn worth the money. At night, I met up with another group of friends to go visit this German Christmas Market which was held under the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory.

The Christmas tree there was soooo pretty!

Had this German sausage for dinner. It was pretty good but a little pricey. This sausage+bun set set me back 600yen, which is like around 10SGD because the yen is still so freaking strong. There were lots of cute stuff there and while some were pretty cheap, some were like horribly expensive...gah, cannot buy!

Bought this German cake back for my host family. It cost me 1500yen but the cake's really big and I get to eat it anyway in the end so lalala. Cant wait to eat it!!! I seriously hope that they dont wait till Christmas to eat it. Haha. The guy who was manning the cake booth gave me a small bottle of German vodka for free...hehe, so nice of him!

There were like many small kids that day and they were like soooo cute! Look at this one! His candy floss is like larger than his head! Awww...

Since we were already at Umeda Sky Building, we decided to go up to the Floating Garden Observatory. As mentioned in my previous post, there's this
love measurer thing there so we decided to try it...all 4 of us together...wtf. The last time when I went there, nobody got a heart-shape but this time round, almost everyone got it and there was even one couple who got the words "LOVE" written across the heart-shape. I think it's rigged because it's Friday night and near Christmas...wtf.

The beautiful night view of Osaka!

I seriously have no idea what this is but it was pretty interesting. There's like 4 shadows there because there were 4 of us. It's supposed to be some "become-a-fairy-thing"...IDK...

While heading down to the ground floor, I heard this familiar accent coming from this family and I was like..."OMFG...it's Singlish!!!" I told my friends excitedly that it's Singlish and they were pretty amazed by it. They were going "sugoi, sugoi" but I seriously dont know what's so sugoi about Singlish... Then again, I think the mother of the family overheard me saying the word "Singlish" and was staring at me. Haha. It's seriously damn easy to spot a Singaporean by hearing their accent in a foreign country. =D

It's Saturday today and I'm probably going to go drinking at night again, something that I've been doing every week...wtf. I seriously drink too much in Japan. Back in Singapore, I drink like what, once every year(?) but I've been drinking at least once every WEEK here...Going to karaoke on Sunday again although I have a final exam, report due and debate on fucking Monday. Shit, someone please give me 48 hours in a day!!!

I have more pictures uploaded on Facebook so if you're my friend on Facebook, go look at the pictures there. I'm just too tired to upload photos here and on Facebook...and Facebook is free anyway. Heh. Will update what I've been doing for the past few weeks sometime, when I got the time to do so. Till then!
